Dejan Skvorc is an Assistant Professor at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. His research interests include large-scale distributed computing systems and architectures, ubiquitous computing, mobile computing, and Internet of Things. He participated in several government and industry-sponsored research projects, including two projects with Ericsson Nikola Tesla Zagreb and two international projects with Google Inc, Mountain View, California, USA. During 2007, he spent four months as a software engineering intern in Google’s Mountain View office.
Dejan Skvorc is a member of IEEE Computer Society and chair of the Computer Chapter in IEEE Croatia Section. He is also a program committee member of the International ICT Convention MIPRO and chair of the MIPRO's Computers in Technical Systems conference. He is a reviewer for several international conferences and guest editor in Journal of Computing and Information Technology.
Dejan Skvorc received his BSc, MSc, and PhD degree in 2003, 2006, and 2010, respectively, from the University of Zagreb. During his studies, he was awarded with Dean award for best students, as well as with several awards for innovations in research.
Matija Horvat

Matija Horvat is a PhD student at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. He received his MSc degree in 2009 from the same university. His research interests are in the field of distributed computing systems, user interface design, and web services.
During his undergraduate studies, he participated in a research project related to consumer programming paradigms. Currently, he is involved into research related to simulation of self-organizing distributed computer architectures for real-time processing of geospatial data.
